Private Client Secretary/PA

 

Location: 24 Market Place, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 1BS

Type: Full time or part time (flexible working is an option which may be considered).

About the Role

This role will be supporting two solicitors in the everyday operation of their duties, providing administrative and personal assistance. We work as a close-knit team, so the successful candidate may also support other fee earners department or firm wide.

  • Audiotyping legal documents/forms, letters and attendance notes
  • File management
  • Handling correspondence
  • Diary management
  • Liaising with clients and other relevant parties
  • Preparing documentation for meetings
  • Time recording and billing
  • Archiving
  • Ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering regulations
  • Meeting tight deadlines

Legal Cashier/Administrator

 

Location: 24 Market Place, Ringwood, Hampshire, BH24 1BS

Type: The role is ideally full-time at 35 hours (although there may be the option for flexibility for the right candidate).

About the Role

Letchers Solicitors are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier who is a meticulous and dynamic team player to join their busy Accounts Team. This is a full-time accounts based role. However, there may be occasions where general office administration is required. Primarily, the role will entail but will not be limited to; daily management of the bank accounts, assisting with house completions, writing cheques, taking payments, dealing with the banking, making payments, purchase ledger entries, bank reconciliations and all other aspects of accounts in a law firm.

 

About You

Experience and competence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel ,and case management accounts systems is essential. Knowledge of the Solicitors’ Account Rules is preferable but training to keep up to date with the same will be provided. The applicant must have experience of working in an office environment as part of a team. A good sense of humour is essential.
