After graduating from the University of Birmingham, Karen relocated to Dorset in 2010. Since the 1990s Karen has gained a wealth of experience in Family Law. She has been a member of specialist panels for immigration, mental health, and children and has represented clients in a variety of courts. Karen has also taught family law at two universities and has been an examiner at 3 universities that offer law courses. She is an accredited member of the Law Society Advanced Family Law Panel and was previously an assessor for solicitors wanting to be admitted to the Panel.
Karen ran her own firm from 1988 to 2021 and has recently joined Letchers. Karen is client focussed and committed to assisting and working with clients to help them through what can be an anxious, difficult and worrying time.
